Version 0.1.19+101 is out.
Message templates are here! No more entering the same text for every
node or server. Find them under "Message templates" in "Settings".
You can pick one set for a server, another for an echo, and your own
for a single message with "Template..." in the composer menu. Existing
settings are converted automatically. The template editor shows a
live preview of a reply.
You can now read messages on a Synchronet BBS over IMAP, where the
board allows it. Read marks are stored on the server, and posts go
out through the board's mail server. The app recognises Synchronet
by itself, so there's nothing to configure beyond the login.
On the desktop, use the arrow keys to move through the message list
and Space to page through a message. At the end, another press of
Space opens the next unread message. Shift+Space pages back.
The composer now gives more room to the message text. The signature
preview is folded into a single line below the text. It shows what
will be appended when you send: the signature, tearline and origin.
This is done on the desktop and in plain-text mode on the phone.
The new version will appear on the App Store and Google Play soon,
and is already available on the site.
